Vintage Moon Star Blue Milk Glass Lightning Rod Ball Retro Prop Display Antique

The following auction is for a vintage star and moon lightning ball. It is used. It is really dirty and needs cleaned up. It has some scratches, scuffs and wear on it. On the one side of stars they have brown coloring or something in them. I cant quite figure it out. I tried running water over it. It may of just been colored in on that side.
Both of the ends are very chipped up. The one end is pretty well gone. I think the metal ring would fit on this side, but it would not snap on. The edge is only about 1/4"
The other end is chipped up too. It looks better than the other, but still shows wear. The worse of the 2 sides also coincides with the brown coloring around the stars.
The pictures explain what I am trying to poorly describe. It is not in mint shape. It is pretty neat. If you had the metal ends it would cover a lot of the issues. You would still have to get the brown out of the lettering.
