RARE! OLD 19th C Running Horse With Sulky 3-D WEATHERVANE Copper Iron Handmade

For sale is a RARE! OLD antique 19th C Handmade copper and iron weathervane in the form of a Running Horse With a man on the Sulky. The horse part is in shallow 3-D form, while the man and the sulky is in realistic full 3-D form. The item is clearly handmade with many soldering joints. It is probably a real one that has seen some weather. The horse shows a good amount of oxidation and patina.
It measures approximately 36” long and about 11” wide between the two back wheels. The horse stand 16.5” tall, the rider 15”. It is in great structural condition. Nothing is broken except one of the rope going to the horse’s harness has separated (see last photo). It could be put back together if you know how to weld, or just leave it as is. The rope is rigid enough to hold itself up. It is not an obvious defect.
