Antique Folk Art Tall Rooster Iron Weather Vane Long Island Shipping Available

This is an incredible antique iron weather vane in the form or a Rooster. The vane stands 53 1/2" tall that's 4 feet 5 1/2"! and is 36 1/2" wide. It is made of iron with iron brackets and rosehead (hand made) rivets. The Rooster came from Long Island New York possibly from a barn however there are no bullet holes or marks, but then again it is iron. We have him standing on an iron folk art stand, very sturdy.
The Rooster is painted with dark highlights and there are traces of gold guiding on the surface. The iron is almost 1/8" thick and the bracketing is incredible.
The Rooster is more than likely from the early to mid 1800"s as this is when this style of construction was popular. Not to many survived due to the nature of their job.
It is in wonderful condition.
